Shure E3C vs E4C vs SE210

Hi there,

the minijack on my white E3Cs broke. sigh. I need a new pair of earphones.

so my choices are

E3C for 125 CAN (they are great, I wouldnt mind getting the same white ones again)
SE210 for 125 CAN (they look great, and apperently they sound like the E3Cs)
E4C for 200 CAN (these look awesome in silver and white, and they should sound better then the above)

which one would you buy? Im leaning towards the E4C even thou they are more expensive, can any E4C owner comfort my decision?

I have the E4Cs and love them when I use them. They are very crisp and not too bass heavy which is nice. Seem very true to the source.

You might want to call Shure about your broken E3Cs. My E4Cs developed a short that would cause them to crackle when the wires were moved in a certain direction. I contacted them and they asked me to send just the headphones back. They then sent me a brand new set (retail box)! Their customer service is top notch.

My only real problem with canal phones in general is that they aren't convenient for everyday use imho. They take too long to take out when someone wants to talk to you and take too long to put in at the gym etc. I have actually had the rubber part come off in my ear when I have tried to take them out too fast. That was on a 6 hour flight and my head was killing me by the time I landed due to the pressure build up in my ear. I had to have my wife use some tweezers to fish it out.

I cant claim warranty guys, I did not buy these retail. I bought them second hand, I have no receipt.
