Linkified.

Nice deal on these earbuds. I hear many a Karma users raving about these.... might have to give them a try. Thanks.

Interesting review link btw. I like the side by side ear fitting comparisons. :)

ANY of the Shure earphones available will BLOW (performance wise) any of the "earphones" included with your iPod

LOL -- this is what happens when you don't proofread. I believe he meant "blow away." Although I guess it makes some sense as written. . .

edit -- that's a terribly written review. I would give it a D+/C- in English 101. The products are the "exact same," except that they use different transducers, shielding, wires, and ear inserts!

They are exactly the same, yet totally different.

But the side by side ear fitting pictures still amuse me :)

I'd rather have some Grado SR60's or SR80's (or Senn HD-497's or Beyer DT231's)...less money and would sound better. But, it's hard to beat Shures for portability and sound isolation. And don't get me wrong; they sound GOOD, just not as good as a quality headphone.

edit: These would be great for anyone with an iPod or other CD/MP3 player that was constantly on the go...

This may be a dumb one....but...

Can I buy the replacement Flex sleeves available for these headphones ( around $20) and fit them on regular earbud headphones to get almost the same isolation?

be careful -- i tried out the similar ER-6 and found to my respite that canalphones are terribly uncomfortable.

I have the E3c set and I love them. I got them from Microphone Solutions for $135 shipped with coupon a while back.

You can get a good deal on the e2's if you have a Guitar Center nearby. They pricematch to Internet prices (just bring a printout). I bought my e2's for ~$70 after tax this way.
