I recently started eating healthy and cut red meat and chicken out of my diet, since I adore the stuff so much moderation's very tricky. Went out to dinner for my sister's birthday tonight and skipped the porterhouse and instead got a skewer of broiled shrimp - to my shock, even with accounting for some butter and such, fitday clocks the total calories for the shrimp (8 large shrimp, flame broiled) as less than 100 calories. So I had a filling meal at a restaurant for less than 200 calories counting the 1/2 baked potato (without butter).
SOOOOO... I think I found a new low calorie food to love, but should I worry about the cholesterol in it? I'm only 26 and my dad has a history of high chol. but my mom does not. Doesn't seem like I should worry but, really, should I? I'm not going to eat the stuff every day but it's tasty and I don't really feel like I'm "dieting" when eating it
