OMG anyone seen Shrek 2? I thought it was HILARIOUS! I like how they inegrate adult type humor into a kids movie and the kids don't get it. Pretty hilarious stuff. 😀

Its sad when kids or even people a few years younger than you dont get that adult humor. Saw "20 First Dates" or whatever with my 13 year old female cousin and I could definately notice her fake laughs, it was depressing.

I thought it started out kinda slow at first, but the last half of it had my stomach hurting from laughing so much. It pretty much all started when Donkey did the mouth popping thing. After that, it was all over. I might go see it again this weekend.

I thought it was great, laughed my ass off @ jokes no one else in the theater seemed to get (full of moms & kids).

One of the few sequels that was better than the original.

i thoguht it was awesome, although i don't think the adult humor was as "smart" as the first. it was just more in your face blatent adult humor. the original shreak had two completely different "layers" whereas this one mixed up the layers IMO

anyone know what song was playing when shrek was looking through his wife's old diary? I don't know if it's on the soundtrack or not, but it wasn't any of the samples amazon had available.

edit: nm, checked the lyrics. it's eels - I need some sleep.

Agreed 😀

i was laughing all the way through. the pepper spray got me going. hahhah.

im lost of the adult humor because i was too busy laughing to notice. what were some?

like the catnip part. that was hilarious and all the adults were cracking up and the kids were just looking.

The sad part is Shrek is a thousand times funnier than teen comedy stuff like Eurotrip.

how is that sad?

a movie aimed at young kids is more funny to teens than a movie aimed at a teen audience?

Its not aimed at kids. Its aimed at all markets, if it was aimed solely at kids, there wouldnt have been the adult humor. Where as teen movies are aimed at teens, and teens only.

Thought it was quite lackluster compared to the first one.

The cat especially was annoying. Seemed they had to force in a character for Antonio Banderas in the same way they squeezed in Poochy into Itchy & Scratchy.
