Showtime's new show Shameless is pretty dam good and needs a proper discussion thread

Watched the first couple episodes but not completely hooked yet. I'll probably watch a few more and see how it goes.

you're right, got caught up .. it gets awesome 🙂.

interested to see what happens with 'steve'

I tried watching the UK Shameless ... it's a little awkward to see...

I haven't checked to see if the actor is supposed to be back next season, so I won't be spoiled by next weeks finale.

Wow another crazy episode last Sunday, the finale should be epic. Too bad Fiona obviously doesn't like pussy, her and the blondie could have gotten it on 3 times already.

Who said she doesnt like it? So far all that we know for sure is that she was caught a little off guard.

Give 'er a couple drinks and she might dive right in.

Didn't we just learn that Grandma Gallagher likes the poon?

This is quite an odd show. I usually like to watch shows because I like the characters, but I find it hard to like people with deplorable attitudes 😛. Oh well, I watch it to see Goku fuck Bulma.

man was kinda hoping
she was gonna go, also kinda saw Karen's dad doing that
hopefully next season can keep it going strong

Good finale, left me wanting more but at least the main cliffhanger wasn't left up in the air, although as soon as Steve popped the Costa Rica idea I knew she was going to stay since the show got renewed, so I wasn't that disappointed when they showed that for sure.

Eddie killing himself was a shock but who can blame him (although I thought he was hardcore religious, blasphemy much?), the thing with his daughter is wearing thin though especially since she's all goth now. Ian coming out to Fiona was a little surprising. Good ending episode but nothing that made me spit my coffee out, hope there's no sophomore slump in season 2.

i took that last scene with Karen & lip as her turning the corner on the goth shit, however she may be back into it when they figure out what eddie did next season.

maybe next season we are gonna see some nice carpet munching action with Amy Smart, would be funny if Tony got dicked over like that

i randomly watched a single episode last night and really liked it. emmy rossum is hot. now i have to go back and watch everything from season one.

thank goodness for showtime hd on demand.

Season 2 is good so far 😀

i thought these lines from the sleepover were hilarious (paraphrased unfortunately due to memory issues):

simon: good idea wearing your pajamas
ethel: these aren't my pajamas

debbie (to lip): couldn't you just fvck her so my party wouldn't suck?

I've continued watching this show solely because of the Emmy Rossum Hot factor. Every character is annoying in their own little way and that makes it hard for me to want to root for any of them. So I just enjoy the humor and T&A.

hahaha, I thought the last line was hilarious.

My wife and I love the show, it's the highlight of our Sunday nights. I find it interesting, though, how the writers have portrayed the group from season 1 to season 2. Season 1 was more about them being poor and doing what they needed to in order to survive. You feel bad and empathize with them. Season 2 is making them much more aggressive and have absolutely no morals, which seems in stark contrast from season 1. At times they seem like really bad people.

Doesn't seem to matter though, I can't get enough of the show.
