Showing file .extentions in Win2K explorer

Sorry if this quiestion maybe overly asked, but I have searched and am unable to find out how I can hvae Explorer, by default, show me the full filenames (including extentions)

If you're familiar with Windows98 or ME you do it the same way.

If not open explorer, click on tools, then folder options. Click on View tab, then uncheck hide extensions for known file types.

Maybe that will help.
