Showering at school

if I recall correctly we showered after every gym class. In fact I think we were "required" to. Hell I wouldn't want to sit around all day in dress clothes after being all sweaty, bloody and stinky from gym class. fucking gross.

Ironically, nobody on the sports teams used the showers, as those were after school and we just went straight home afterwards. Though I do guess we used them on Fridays as we'd likely end up going out that night too and not going home after practice.

Honestly, that's just fucking gross that kids dont shower.

FWIW I graduated in '92.
 
I like how all the people who were forced to shower justify it by saying it would be gross not to, and denying that there was some old dude that really loved to see them naked :biggrin:
 
We never had time for it, I don't know if that was by design or not though. We hardly had time to change and make it to the next class on time, let alone hop in the shower. Admittedly I probably could have used one, but between the rush and the communal shower (one big stall) I don't think I ever saw anyone use it in high school.
 
I was too pussy to shower in front of anyone and in hindsight I should have because I probably stunk all day.

Also, how out of shape are you guys that you sweat like crazy after light exercise?
OMG PLAYING DODGE BALL, SWEATING SO HARD. MIGHT NOT MAKE IT. UPDATE MY WILL FOR ME.

Ditto. And coming out of the shower, our PE instructor who was also the BBall coach, would toss us a towel. He always tossed it high so we had to reach up for it...

Hmm, looking back on it, thats pretty gross.

Then we'd go towel off, apply copious amounts of BRUT (so we would smell like a man), and go to science class.
 
We were forced to shower after gym class. Of course I always go stuck with first period gym, so who wouldn't shower.

I just didn't shower when I woke up, and waited until after gym class.
 
I'm surprised there isn't a larger "seeing other guys balls builds character" contingent in this thread. Anyway, I never saw anyone use the showers at my gym. Maybe one kid tried in middle school and got made fun of, I can't remember.

I don't remember sweating much in gym class though.

The gym is all about sweating your balls off (literal sweat, figuratively they fall off). Those guys really should shower.
