As I understand it, the parties never put losers back up for election. But what about John Edwards?

Nixon lost in 1960 won in 1968.

Democrats don't usually like losers. I don't hear anyone screaming for Kerry though I wouldn't be surprised if Gore ran in 2008 and ran to Hillary's left.

Republicans tend to run mutiple times including Nixon, Ronald Reagan ('68,'76, 80), Bob Dole ('80, '88, '96) , GHW Bush ('80. '88) before getting the nomination so I can see McCain winning the nomination though political people are saying George Allen may be the establishment candidate.

If it was McCain vs. Hillary. I would vote for Hillary in a heartbeat. McCain sold his soul to appease GW Bush even after he and Rove bashed in South Carolina in 2000. That bearhug picture of McCain and Bush is all I need to see.

I'm guessing that his parents have always hated Democrats and now he hates Democrats, too. Whereas his parents may have had legitimate beefs with the Democrats, he's just following the crowd.

Purely speculation though. 🙂

Like anyone cares who reps vote for, we know you will tow the party line anyhow.

Anyway, she will kill the progressive vote, ( I will in no way be voting for her)

But the huge amount of moderates who usually are not interested in partisan crap and dont vote will be a different story, a woman prez and clinton name has a "those were good times" kinda legacy, it will be a interesting election.

She sure inspires a lot of disdain from lefties, and gets dittoheads swearing she is satan, while ho hum america actually may be the deciding factor. -my 2 copper

If you haven't gone outside latley away from right wing propaganda, reps are not very popular nowdays, bush espically. Democrats have almost no appeal, a gimmicky thing may work. Politics are a strange beast.
