I never made such a claim. Conjur made a claim and it was refuted by the facts. Sorry you don't understand facts. Shades of grey do exist in many things but there are absolutes too. It seems too many times people go looking for the grey where there is only black and white. In this case conjur is trying to take grey and calling it black.

You find it ironic that my name is Grey Shaddon? I suppose you are a diamondback fan - no?

You made such a claim in asserting that those who favor fewer troops are in favor of our continued presence, when in fact the logical conclusion is that they favor a slow pullout. Yes, I find it ironic that your user name is "ShadesOfGrey" when you see this issue only in black & white.

No, what I did was refute the claim that conjur made. The facts show that only ~1/3 support a full withdraw - which doesn't match conjur's claim that a "MAJORITY of people now oppose the continued presence in Iraq."

You can speculate all you want about what the poll means or what the people thought while responding to the poll but that's all it is - speculation. The FACTS however don't support conjur's claim.

Hehe, again you are wrong. I see this question as a somewhat grey issue -thus I refuted conjur's claim and his attempt to make it a black/white issue. You seem to be a bit confused - basically totally backwards to reality.

Again, my name is Grey Shaddon - deal with it.

I don't give a rat's ass what your name is, your username is in stark contrast with your views and I'll continue to find it ironically amusing, thank you very much :)

As far as your poll "interpretation", it's amazing you feel you can simply reject reality when it contradicts your views. I guess it comes naturally when all your RW brethren are doing it as well, giving it a sense of normalcy & acceptability

Actually my user name is quite in line with my views - especially in this case. Again since you didn't read it - conjur was the one who made the claim - I refuted his claim with fact. He was the one trying to say grey was black. But I'm probably just wasting my time with you - you obviously won't conceed the point. Oh well, it's no big deal - you can join conjur , bowfinger, and a few others who think they are always right but usually are 180deg out of phase with reality.

Have fun in your dark-sky world.

I only hope that no one under the age of 23 is at the rally. Why???? If they love the war so much, they should be over there fighting it.

If it weren't for that guy, they would be doing hand to hand combat with muslim terrorists in the streets of NYC, LA, SF, Chitown, and DC while you critized them for using sharp bayonets!

Actually the threat has gone up now that we've stirred them up so much. If a country invaded the US and killed nearly 30,000 innocents with whom you share the common bond of religion & ancestry - your friends & family, perhaps - would you be upset? That cocky swagger still seem like such a great idea?
