DeskFlag

A little proggy running in the background displays a waving flag in the corner of your screen.

Could get annoying, but I figure I'll throw it up there for a while.

This should in no way be perceived as unpatriotic, but....

NO!!!!!! That little program has wreaked havoc with my company's computers. For a while, all desktop users were calling in saying "Outlook is freezing" and "Word is freezing" and etc... Guess what they were running in the background?

Uninstalled it and the problems mysteriously dissappeared.

why the hell would you want to do that?
Nothing personal but I got sick of people having their flags everywhere a long time ago...
The only reason people have them is because it is trendy to be patriotic...

<< Why does the clock that comes with DeskFlag always say 4:30 PM?
Oops! You've accidentally downloaded the preview picture of DeskFlag (on the main page of our Web site) and set it as your desktop wallpaper, instead of downloading the actual DeskFlag program. See your Windows help to learn how to change your wallpaper back to something else, then go back to the main page of our site and follow the links to download the DeskFlag program itself.

I'd have to agree, they all tried to set this up on a little office I do some work for, they screwed all kinds of things up. As if the wallpaper and screensavers weren't enough they needed to add this to the mix and cause even more problems.

This may be true for some people, but I have been flying an American Flag at my house since 1975.
