this is the first time i've sculpted a pumpkin instead of carving one. i did it from memory. next year, maybe i'll do a better job. i need to get some sculpting tools, i think.

did you use a stencil? where'd you find it?

I used a stencil/pattern I just found on google images or something of that sort.. I can't remember exactly where I found it, because I was searching for like an hour for different stencils.

I had to use toothpicks to hold the really skinny parts together, it was truly amazing how much support the toothpicks add.

I think next year I may buy two pumpkins. One to do another intricate design much like the homer one, and then one to sculpt like you have done 🙂
