The black marks on the pavement on the left are left from us in the police academy doing driving practice.

thats pretty cool -- here in northern Va, the state police (or maybe its the county police, can't remember now) -- have a private track that they use for training link

they use to sponser charity events there --- but since sept 11, they've stopped doing that. 🙁

Anyone else notice, the Sat images are all upside down? Guess that's why it's still BETA!

My Work

LOL, the arrow is in the middle of the street, but my office building is the first one due west of it.

terraserver > google maps

not nearly as easy to use though.

Yeah, that's true.
But I was just looking at terraserver for the first time in forever- the pictures are larger and easier to manipulate (zoom, etc.), and the more recent batches of photos are much higher quality.
Google maps is beta, though, and directions are cool 🙂

Huge Saturn 5 rocket laying on display at the grounds of the Johnson Space Center. This is the type of rocket that took us to the Moon many times.

Saturn V

that link points to a car. where is the rocket?

Try it now. The rocket is laying on its side.

I still have no idea wtf you are looking at. How many levels are you zoomed?

Follow that link and zoom all the way in. The rocket will be laying on the left side of the page. You can't miss it.
