Westroads Mall, Omaha, NE

This one's hard to pinpoint exactly so I've done my best. Zoom all the way in and click the Westroads Club link. The mall is down and to the right a little bit. I think that's the roof of the food court.

Strange, eh?

You mean teh cross?

Yeah.

I would think that is a helicopter landing zone marker.

I doubt it...for one thing, every helicoper landing pad I've seen has a +, not a cross. Besides, why would the mall need a helicopter landing pad? And on top of the food court of all places?!?!?!

I think the cross in the center is a landing pad. I know Crossroads Mall does have a landing pad or used to. Its been a long time since I been out there but it may be a sky light or a patch job on the roof.

Terraserver has a much higher resolution.

Combine the google engine with the resolution of some other sources and you have a nice solution.

Add marine charts and it's all good. 🙂

Some guy named Dave wrote his name in a field in Bunker Hill, IL. 😀
HAHAHA

that is awesome -- how did you find that?!

Someone posted it on another techie forum. I stole it, since no one had posted it here yet. 😉

There was a slashdot posting about where and when a particular sattelite was going to be taking pictures. I guess some one took advantage of that.
