Mine will hopefully be finished in another few months. Working on a projector system with a 103" screen, 7.1, with 2 rows of home theater seating. I'll post pictures when it's finished.

Ah, cool. I had visions of the cable box being surrounded in foam. I know my box would meltdown if I did that. :whiste:
hell yeah, and thats what i would spend on finishing + furnishing...
so no point to doing it to have it empty.
Tried to DIY, but no one i know can help...
Definitely not 1-person job, 1200sqft.

not fond of theater style seats with armrests in between. can't snuggle with the gf during movies.

My favorite man cave I've ever seen is a dude (not me - I have no man cave as I live with my family of four in a 1200sf house with no basement or garage) who lives in a bigass garage structure. He dispensed with the house and just went with 100% man cave. Lemme see if I can dig up pics...

Akshually. I have a 20A for most of the room and 1 15A socket that is shared with some other things in other apartments, but I run my toaster oven (rated for 1800W of godliness) and the light flickers... but the thing doesn't ever lose power. 😎 I run it on the 15A thing obviously because the refrig and my computer are on the 20A.

That rocks and is kind of what I'm aiming for with my Colts-themed man cave. The only problem I see is the TV -- too small. Otherwise, :thumbsup:.

A man cave is where the husband goes to for a respite from the wife. Not only should there be a tv, but gaming stuff, pool table, dart board, arcade system, etc., booze, computer equipment, and other stuff for the man to enjoy while the wife is upstairs making sandwiches, doing the laundry, and knitting shit.

What's above the tiles in the ceiling? I'm assuming you did something to keep all the sound from bleeding into the rooms above it...
Uh I spend my evenings in my HT watching movies and playing games while my wife is watching her dancing with the stars and other reality shows upstairs. I built the thing mostly myself and picked out everything that went in it.
That's *my* man cave. So fuck you and fuck your opinion on the matter. And I mean that in the most professional way.

I tried to take a phone picture of my "man cave" but you can't see because its a crappy cell phone camera. I have a mini fridge for the beers, a rack for the games, and a 150" screen for my projector. Not to mention a bathroom 10 feet from the leather couch 🙂.
Its not professionally finished at all (except maybe the bathroom). This place is a rental though, I'll wait til I move into the house I really want.
