Well, here's mine. Got KDE all nice and shiny on there. I'd have more, but I had to wipe my box so I'm still rebuilding things. But soon I'll have Tux racer, UT2k3 and so much more uber linux goodness. Goodbye windows, you suck. :)

You named your linux box "bsdbox"? Huh?

anywho..I'm wondering, is this gonna be renamed to friday desktop thread or is the friday thread actually going to be made?

Well, it's named BSD box for a reason. It IS a BSD box. I'm running Freebsd 4.8 to be precise. The apps I was talking about are originally written for linux, but they run on freebsd if you have linux compatibility enabled.

ah...ic. The uber-linux goodness reference threw me off.

yeah id be glad to show what ive done in a little more depth also.

ENJOY

----

May I present the mac theme pics and how i got them. Total time to do all this, Id say 12 hours or so. Most of them were learning how to do it all.

AOL Instant Messenger - I hacked the aimres.dll file and changed the typical image to a custom made image.

Windows Media Player and Winamp - I just d/l some skins that are mac related

Control Panel Icons - I replaced various .cpl and .dll files to replace all the icons. Well most of them

My Computer I replaced the shell32.dll file. This changes all the default icons and folders.

My desktop I used StyleXP to get the basic mac look for the tool bar. I used YzDock for the menu on the bottom and YzShadow to get the mac shadows on all the stuff. My calender program is Rainlendar. Also i changed the stopobject.dll to change the volume control icon for the task bar. I also hacked the the winamp.exe to change the winamp icon taskbar which is not shown in the picture. the background is just something i found along my travels. also i use the rainlender program to display the calander and i use samurize for the weather, email, and uptime....

The rest are just various screenshots that are changed due to replacing dll files.

Comments? Feedback? Did you want see more screen shots? Just ask. I think that covers everything. Did i miss anything?

EDIT::: some of my skins have changed a little bit that are not shown hear. i just started using YzToolbar and have new skins for winamp. Other than that. everything is same i think......
