I'm considering getting this but only 2 things stopping me:

VA vs IPS
not 16:10

It's for my wife's PC which I use 4% of the time, she could care less. She wants speakers built in which I think it has. What do you think?

how much less could she care?

i was a 16:10 snob when i had a 1680x1050 20" dell (2005 fpw?). then i got a 27" QHD dell and forgot about 16:10. there's a big vertical pixel upgrade and most stuff is still designed for peasant FHD.

I think she'll be annoyed because I already upgraded from 20" to 24", hmmn.

and I'm still a proud 16:10 snob, however she's more likely to play flash games or watch Youtube than edit 100 page Excel .xls docs.

There is nothing exciting about my desk but I'll throw up a couple of pics.

a lil busy but I got my audio gear setup (DAC, AMP, multiple headphones, turntable) also my PS4Pro, work headset. I did some wire management at first but it's just so much shit going on between all that gear and I've changed stuff up so I kinda gave up.

Got a new Eames style mid-century modern chair about a year ago, so that's what's rocking now. I feel like I'm at a battlestation.

Eldest helping youngest play NMS:

lol this takes me back

for 5 years my little bro only wanted to watch me play games

then for 3 years he would play them, but just wanted me to do the hard or scary parts for him

then for 2 years he was able to beat the games, but i could still beat him in multiplayer

and somewhere between age 10 and 11 he got good enough that i didn't have a shot anymore

I wish my two kids got along well enough to EVER help each other out playing games.

The only way they would have had physical contact was if they were in a fight over something. ;)
