Both of those guitars were about $900 when I got them in the late 80s. They're expensive because they're reissues. They're made to the same specifications of the original instruments for those particular years. All the hardware, and finishes are done in the vintage style. I don't know what the vintage market is now, but back when I bought them, a pre CBS Strat was selling for well over $10,000, so a reissue was quite the bargain :^D

weak. i enjoy it when it's cold because then i don't have to wrap it around my waist and use it as a belt. i also don't have to use a panoramic to fit all in one picture.
