show me the way to edit video's!!!!

Hi, im tryin to get software and some type of usb cord that is an adaptor for the three prong red white and yellow cord so i can hook a vcr up to the computer. i want the vcrs data to be able to go in my comp and be able to send the comp info back out into the vcr. it would b nice if i could get editing software that is pretty good that comes with the adaptor. I hear that adobe priemere is great but i want to get the software and the adaptor for under $300.

Pinnacle Studio AV version 7 or 8 would do ya. Comes with the analog capture card and a nice editing software package.
