I currently have a jansport bag that you carry on one shoulder (messenger bag?) it just doesn't prove to have the room I need.

i have last year's model of this

and i lived off campus. so i used to haul food from home to the house that i lived in, and i put about 20lbs or so all into the backpack... needless to say my back would be messed up if not for the nice padding on it.
