I would like to forego the use of my mouse as much as possible and would like to learn all of the keyboard shortcuts.

So far all I know are alt-tab and from that one thread alt-esc!

how do you do back and to your homepage in a browser? how to click on a link?and any other ones you think might be helpful or cool. thanks!

cntrl-c - copy
cntrl-v - paste
cntrl-shift-esc - task manager
window key+ E - windows explorer
windows key+R - run
windows key + pause/break - My Computer properties
alt+home - home page
alt+left key - back
alt+right - forward
F4 in IE to get to the address bar, or just cntrl-o
to get to a link is a bit harder i...i think you have to tab until the link you want shows up and hit enter

more to come

Winkey+M minimize all windows
Winkey+D brings back all windows that were minimized by [winkey+m]...sometimes have to do it 2x to bring them all up.

Someone listed it already, but one of my favorites is CTRL+O in IE. Do that, then type in a URL. Much easier than clicking and highlighting in the address bar. Someone mentioned the Winamp shortcuts already, too. And of course, CTRL+C and CTRL+V.

Edit: Escape by itself will close an in-focus AIM window.

one of my favorite's is 'ctrl+enter' while in IE. Say you type just 'google' in the address bar, then hit 'ctrl+enter' and it fills in all the other junk and takes you to the site.

ALT + F4 is the wanker's shortcut.
CTRL + ALT + DEL is the super wanker's shortcut.
ALT + ENTER is the shameless wanker's shortcut.
ALT + TAB is the casual wanker's shortcut.
CTRL + F is the curious wanker's shortcut.
CTRL + Z is the clumsy wanker's shortcut.
F5 is the impatient wanker's shortcut.
