Well because your post is written in swahili i'm trying to interpret the best i can. It appears you are trying to make an appointment for a specialist at a hospital. That hospital requires a referral from your general practice physician. correct?
The only place in the hospital you would not need a referral is the ER (for most HMO's if i am not mistaken).
well my PCP = Primary Doctor made out refferal to New York Eye and Ear infirmary for three visits
1. visit i went to general clinic, they told me my vision problem handled by cornea surgeon( i was seen at least by a dozen residents there and whole thing took half a day)
got paper with appoitment to cornea clinic
2. visit saw cornea surgeon ( this time half a dozen residents) he told me everything looks fine but i have to come back for check up to cornea clinic
3. I have one refferal left want see cornea surgeon for check up, I dont wannt go get new refferal and go through general clinic hassle since i already was there and they reffered me to cornea clinic since its not their specialty
So why in the world I have to go through their hassle, I want see if I can try to contact their corporate to assist me if not I will try new clinic by lenox hill hospital
The only reason I am staying away from private practice doctors in eye field because most of them try to sell me a surgery but honest cornea surgeon told me its not advised to do that since previous surgery done in europe by old method if they touch something they might cause damage that will be unfixible
