Shouldn't you get a refund if you pay for an app and it gets pulled?

A while back i bought the psx, nes, and genesis emulators. Since that time they have been pulled from the market.

Luckily i backed them up with TB, but i wont be receiving any updates or anything since they arent there anymore.

If you pay for an app and then it gets pulled, shouldn't you get refunded the money for it? What if i didn't back up the app. I guess id be SOL

A sort of similar issue that I run into is when developers do odd things with their game prices. I have a game on my iPad that I paid for, but the developer changed it to free with ad-support. So I've refused to update the game, because there's no difference between my current version and the new version except for ads to support the software being free.

The ludicrous part is... there's even a "lite" version of the app that's already free. :\
