No. It helps you to "plan" your parenthood. When/if you chose to have children. They provide counseling both ways.

While PP presents itself as a provider of a wide range of services, in reality they are all about abortion.

From 1989 to 2000, breast exams performed there have dropped by 30%. Adoption referrals have declined by 75% since 1994. Vasectomies have been on the decline since 1984. And female sterilizations average only 5 per affiliate (they have 129) per year. I don't know if they even offer infertility treatment any more.

They don't seem to be hurting for money, either, as the Des Moines affiliate has purchased $125,000 worth of stock in Intimate Brands, which makes lingerie for Victoria's Secret.

Society will clash until we can reach an agreement on when a fetus becomes a life. How many abortions have there been? We may have killed some potentially great people.

This will be clashing in Georgia pretty soon. A republican state representative has announced plans to introduce a bill in the Georgia state congress renaming abortions to executions. It will require the mother to go before a court and plead her case as to why her rights are more important than the baby's right to life.

Should make for some interesting times...

Seriously, I have been reading grumblings about Planned Parenthood for a few months now from different sources. They're mission statement has seemed to shift from family planning to advocating abortions.

There is a grocery store near me who's mission statement is "Provide lowest prices, everyday, gauranteed." And they are one of the more expensive grocery stores around.
