When i was installing my cat 3.6s, after I installed the display driver and was restarting, my computer took a while to restart. Then it windows came up with this End Now window that said it was ending something like shouldnotsee.exe -- what's that? do i have a virus?

thanks.

I have seen that a few times when rebooting after installing new drivers. This has happened after installing Hyperions, Catalysts, and Detonators. And NAV2002 (with all updates) never shows a virus.

I'm not sure what it is exactly, but I feel it is driver related and definitely not a virus.

dont' worry about it.
The message is that you shouldnot see on the title bar.
It's not ending shouldnotsee.exe

It's part of the time sharing method that the win2k kernal implements, so win2k and winXP users are the ones who would see it. You probably see it when driver installs force something to happen after core processes are shutdown, and it stalls them temporarily.
