That's a tough pair of choices. YoYo is more generally useful, but the pig's pretty funny, and started an ATOT meme. Also when you get behind the ridiculous phrasing pig uses, his posts are generally insightful.

Ok, I went with the pig. ATOT isn't about being useful, so that eliminated YoYo. Spaceman isn't here, so he's disqualified. That left me with the pig. What a sorry world we live in :^D

There are helpful people, and then there are users who post obviously ridiculous things and are entertaining.

YOyo should not be in competition against theflyingpig and spaceman. That's almost insulting (I say almost, because I actually liked spaceman's from time to time; tfp, not so much).

Just going by the OP itself, you could have 3 categories for voting:

1. Most Helpful/Encouraging User of the Year
2. Funniest User of the Year
3. Most Epic Troll of the Year (might need to take this out because it would probably encourage trolling for next year, though I guess trolls don't really need incentive to be trolls)

Actually, since you posed the title of this thread as a question, you could (should) make a new thread and set up 3 polls. I can't remember if vBAT supports multiple polls, but if not, you can do it manually or use external poll maker.

Should probably allow a couple days for nominations, then put up a new thread and allow voting until end of year.

ok i like that idea. sucks that we can't have both polls in one thread but i'd have to make 2 threads. one for funniest/trolliest and one for helpful. now i need nominations.
