I guess so, if they pay the park a good amount extra, since it'd be hard for them to enjoy the park otherwise.

Only if they place a daily limit they can sell otherwise it will make the lines even worse.

I'm opposed to the line-cutting aspect of the VIP tickets. Don't care if they get to see more, eat better, have a personal escort, etc. But being able to go to the front of the line at every ride seems unfair. The non-VIPs will never know how long the wait is for a ride, as I imagine every VIP ticket available will sell out. A lot of wealthy people go to those parks and they aren't going to blink at another few hundred dollars so they can tell all their friends back home that they did the VIP thing.

Front of the line passes at Universal has been around for a long time. They just kicked it up a notch with food and unlimmited usage.

I have no issues with it and have paid for the "line-skipping" service before.

That should be don't restrict. And you are right, if you have an equal amount of tickets, then non VIP would never get to do anything in a timely manner. You would wait all day to ride a single ride.

The entire "buying" your way to the front of the line is simply BS. No different than gaming companies telling you to get DLC crap. I hate that sort of business practice (probably the reason I don't play games much anymore).

For me, all the premium tickets really do is highlight just how bad of a deal the regular tickets are.

I don't think they should. Only meaningful if people, the ones without all the money, stop going to universal. Otherwise the theme park can screw em as hard as they want by monetizing the income inequality of the country into a ratcheted visitor experience at their parks.

Line cutting sucked when we were kids and doesn't change as adults when viewed through the prism of personal wealth.

I bet it works out great for universal though.
