Should These Temps Concern Me?

I'm running a 3ghz P4C and a Radeon 9800 Pro w/ Zalman HP80-C heatpipe, with option OP1 fan. My northbridge is cooled by a passive Zalman heatsink. My powersupply is a single fan Zalman 400w. Then I have 5 Panaflo L1As. All fans except for the CPU fan are connected to 5v lines, so they run slow and quiet. But I just noticed after leaving a game of max payne that my CPU temp is at 60C and my casetemp is at 38C. This is w/ the Zalman 7000Cu on my CPU @ full speed.

I've been idling for a few minutes, and my CPU temp is back down to it's 48C idle. Case temp is still at 38C.

Are these temps dangerous to my hardware? Should I switch my 5 L1As back to full speed?

No. You don't need to worry. Unless you are experience stability problems. I have a Barton 2800+ that gets to about 62C under heavy load. Not so much as a twitch. There is nothing to worry about. By the time those temps affect your hardware, you'll have long grown out of it.

no you don't have to worry about it. Abit ic7 boards tend to be higher in cpu temp readings.
if you go to abit forums they will tell you that at idle the cpu should be around 50 degrees and under heavy load, at max it should reach 70-75. i think that's what they said.

hope that helps.

Yep no reason to worry, you're well within reasonable operating temps. I am bit surprised though with all those fans that your temp isn't a bit cooler (Unless of course your ambient temp is high, then there really isn't much you can do with air cooling) but as mentioned, nothing really to worry about.

Well, with my previous setup, I had an idle of 42C as opposed to 48C, and a load of around 56C as opposed to 60C. But I had a lot more airflow and a lot more noise.

Pretty much my question is, am I going to kill my computer trying to make it run quiet?

Just jumped out of Max Payne 2 again... CPU temp was at 61, case temp PWM @ 49, case temp at 42....

Its likely your cpu/computer will be obselete before it dies/fry's because of your temps.

Er.... I don't often look at the right side of my computer, because it's near the wall, but I was wondering how hot it might be near the processor. As a reached over, I noticed it felt strangely smooth, and very hot. Upon closer inspection, it would appear that the paint has melted off in a circle on the side panel behind the processor.
