Should there be a seperate ATOT SPORTS forum?

I get annoyed when people from ATOT bitch and moan about the abundence of sports related topics, so, for us sports fans, should we have our own seperate forum, or just continue to annoy the masses of ATOT peeps who don't like the mention of the words Red Sox, Yankees, Braves, Cubs, Twins, A's, Patriots, Cowboys, Raiders, Celtics, Lakers, etc?

Edit: Like our Florida bretheren, the polls didn't seem to be working, so it was deleted, but my answer was yes as well.
 
Same here. I would vote yes, but the voting machines aren't working. Is that because I'm in Florida? Time to start counting chads!
 
This is a computer discussion forum.

Personally I would prefer an automotive (even mechanical) forum before a sports forum.

Since this is a computer discussion forum, anything non-computer should be in Off Topic I suppose. But then how do you explain the political discussion forum?

Maybe we should go there to discuss the ATOT voting machine scandal.

how about they ditch the politics forum (and ban most of the people in there) and make a "sterotypical male" forum with sports, cars, motorcycles, and pics? threads... 😀
 
Red Sox are gonna go 0-3 cuz they suck and don't even deserve to be in the playoffs. Can't wait till the Yankees buy off all their closers and win another championship while Boston has nothing to look forward to except Bruins hockey.

If we don't have a car forum, we won't get a sports forum. In my opinion, it'd be nice to mix the two together. I understand why that stuff is left to Off Topic since this is a computer discussion forum. It would be nice, though.

I enjoy sports too, but there's MAYBE 1 sports thread for every 5-6 car threads on avg. And that's only because we're in the heart of the sports year with football hitting full-stride and baseball in the playoffs. It's not like that in the spring.

If anything, an Automotive forum would be needed first out of all the generall off topic topics. But personally, I don't think one is necessary for either. Both are more laid-back topics appropriate for an off-topic forum. I am VERY thankful, however, that politics has its own forum now. Before that was created, Off-topic was getting overrun with nasty political threads which always ended up with bitter arguments from extremists from both sides.

I must say that you Red Sox fans are loyal if nothing else. Gotta salute you for that.

If it were up to me, I would NEVER have Kim pitch in another post season game as long as he lives.



 
To hell with the car forum, I'd be at my PC 24 hours a day trying to keep up, SCREW THAT !
 
Speaking of sports and Florida and the San Francisco Giants (well, I was speaking of those things LOL) - I'm going to Game 4 tomorrow in South Florida, Giants at Marlins. I'm in Central Florida, about 4 hours away, but it will be worth it. Go Giants!!!!!

Actually, it will be worth it if I get to see the Giants close out the Series 3-1 when I am there. If the Marlins sweep the next two, I'll be pissed. LOL
