The movie was halfway decent and every now and then there is a laugh in the show.

i still watch every episode. honestly it's not as good (pretty obvious) as its heyday seasons 3-8 or 9... it's much better than other crap thats on tv. outside of sports and the office its the only show i watch religiously

Should it still be on the air? Probably not. But what are the other alternatives on a Sunday evening. They will dominate that slot for as long as the Simpsons are running.

I'd trade The Simpsons for Futurama. I laughed way harder at Futurama then most of The Simpsons episodes. The Simpsons movie was pretty funny though. Especially when Homer tried to build a rocket to send the pig crap into space.

Yes. Still very watchable after I "rediscovered" it. The tone and quality has changed a lot, but the show is almost as old as I am and I can't/don't want to let it go...

I still watch it.

What I find about the new episodes, they aren't very funny the first time you watch them...but when you see it rerun once or twice (which will happen within a month since its on so much, haha), its funny the second time around.

Kinda weird. At any rate, I still enjoy it, although I do think it's past it's prime (which I thought was seasons 8-12, later than most people think). 18 years and still going strong.
