I have pulse oximeter (for sleep apnea), and was using during the day. I noticed when I am resting my HR isn't constant, it fluctuates from moment to moment. Right now it is fluctuating around 60BMP, one moment it is 63 then few seconds later it is 58, then 62, then 60, then 57, then 55 , then 59 , then 63 BMP, then 65 BP, then down again, and up again. It changes every second or two. It isn't stable.

My resting heart rate wavers around +/- 1.04 bpm over a period of 10 minutes of minor activity. Mind you this is a bit on the high side. Medical journals agree that the average variation is around +/-0.6 bpm with a variance of 0.75 bpm.

I clicked on this thread because your title is awful

I second this motion.

The sensor is probably not accurate enough to give you the accuracy you're looking for, and yes, your heart rate varies constantly, even changing your thought pattern can make your heart change in rate.

Ps this is a stupid thread.

don't feed the troll...

no your heart rate will not be completely steady...

you moved your head, that made it raise
you stopped twitching your eye, that made it lower
you started twitching your leg, that raised it
you changed posture, that could raise or lower it.

you are fucking retarded...
