The first time I saw snowpocalypse was some youtube vid with a tv weatherman going crazy and talking about a snowpocalypse a few weeks ago.

Now I seem to see it a lot. I looked it up online, and for example, Merriam-Webster doesn't have it.

Should "snowpocalypse" be added to the dictionary.

Warning possible ATOT effect!

Let's not add any more useless words to the English language. Only lazy people would use that word. What's wrong with saying "snow apocalypse"?

I heard a weatherman refer to the system on the east coast as a "Snowicane" It was twirling like one, but dumping snow.

LOL Snowpocalypse to me would be this...

If they didn't add snowmageddon, they shouldn't add snowpocalypse either.

lol is there even such thing as a snow apocalypse? I guess I could see if some crazy natural event occurred and we would get dumped with like 100 feet in a single night, literally burying homes. Probably enough to even collapse them.

Speaking of snow we are FINALLY getting a bit now. Got a few inches over the past couple days. A few feet in some spots due to drifting. Nothing major though. Think most of the states still has a couple feet more then we do.

In my experience, 3 feet will start collapsing some roofs of large structures, or at least cause sufficient deformation of wooden beams in residential houses to cause cracking of drywall ceilings. This of course depends on the density of the snow.
