but seriously, why not? i hear this all the time, some girl will talk about how she was *going* to do something, but she didn't want to be thought of as a slut, so she didn't. is that sad or what? our society is preventing girls from doing what they want to do, by scaring them with the threat of being labeled as these things. guys have it easy, we want to get laid, it's acceptable to get laid. even if it's a one night stand, etc. but girls do not always have this liberty, they have to worry about what's going to be thought of them, etc.

I used to feel that way, and I still think that it is true for highschool, maybe early college girls.
But then I realized why... It was my own damn insecurity standing in my way.
And now I know that nice guys who also happen to be secure would have an easy life in the dating world...

as far as i know my friend isn't worried about being labled a "slut". she is just scared to call him.

Please, I'm sooo sick of the word "slut" being flung about by pasty faced, sweaty palmed guys that wouldn't know what to do with a real live,flesh and blood woman if their lives depended on it

call him, find out where she stands, sucks to not know answers that she obviously has the right to:

something meaningful to develop? or just a notch in his belt? or it was a mistake? etc?

oh! we could pretend this is 7th grade and get a mutual friend to ask him if he would like to see her more then report on to her!
