All politicians promise more then they can pull off. The most known ones in history are the ones who have the will of the public/lucky events to pull these things off.

Granted, most presidential promises are realized in the second term.

All the more reason for Obama to be reelected.

I myself personally doubt he will get much done in his second term, one I think he is a corporate pawn (all presidents are) and 2 the opposition is dead set on blocking ANYTHING he does.

Dunno, but the time for this is toward the tail end of his second term, it is far too early to call these lies.

Oh ya, he has probably lied more than anyone to ever hold office, but just give him 4 more years. He might make good on a few.

You probably just made that up, which makes you a liar too.

Funny how the OP is caught in a lie and tries in the most dishonest fashion possible to deflect and deny while creating a thread about someone else lying. Typical hypocrite.

Bush's lies killed about a million people. How many people were killed by Obama's lies?

Yes, Obama should be held accountable for his lies and failures as president. However, the problem is, due to the nature of the US political system, the only way to do that is even worse. When forced to choose between stepping in poo and eating poo, you vote Democrat.

Should you be banned for being a troll and a moron, cybrsage?

He shouldn't be banned for being a moron - that's beyond his control. But he certainly should be banned for being a troll. Furthermore, I think the mods should enforce Cybrsage's promise to withdraw from ATPN if Santorum "lost." I'm comfortable letting the mods determine if Santorum "lost" or not. And if they decide Santorum DID lose - which no honest person would deny - then I think the mods should give Cybrsage the heave-ho.

He was in the contest when you made the bet in February. He didn't drop out of the race until April.

What do you all think, should Obama have to explain why he lied about these things? Simple things, like his sunshine promise, his no lobbists promise, etc.

Or do you guys think he should get a free pass on them?

I admit I haven't watched your video, but my position is that we should hang every politician who voted for the NDAA, and Obama because he signed it. The supreme court justices who ruled in the majority on the Citizens United Case should also be hanged.

Wow, you really are stupid. Can you quote me ever saying I am not a bigot? Save your effort, you cannot. HOWEVER, you CAN quote me saying this:

Never claimed not to be one. :) Rational and intelligent people are always bigotted against some things. Are you not utterly intolerant of the view that sex with grade school kids is good? If you are, you are a bigot.

The problem is that people have some odd need to pretend they are "enlightened", which to them means "not intolerant or bigotted". But if you are not intolerant or bigotted, you are an idiot, for that means you think all views are allowable and acceptable. This is stupid, many views are both not acceptable and should not be allowed.

Obama claimed the actions in Lybia did not meet these requirements:

SEC. 4. (a) In the absence of a declaration of war, in any case in which United States Armed Forces are introduced--
(1) into hostilities or into situations where imminent involvement in hostilities is clearly indicated by the circumstances;
(2) into the territory, airspace or waters of a foreign nation, while equipped for combat, except for deployments which relate solely to supply, replacement, repair, or training of such forces; or
(3) in numbers which substantially enlarge United States Armed Forces equipped for combat already located in a foreign nation
http://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/warpower.asp

So Obama said the action in Lybia was not hostilities, did not enter the airspace of Libya, and did not increase the number of US military members in Libya.

It appears you disagree with Obama on this...

So you admit you are a bigot. And then you accuse others of bigotry? Hmmm...you do realize that bigotry is a BAD thing to the rest of the world, and not something to aspire to and be proud of right?

You have a very, how should I say, "different" outlook on this world.
