After 10PM, sure.

The Puritanical roots of the US are the only reason we sexualize boobs the way we do. It is quite embarrassing, actually.

You're absolutely right, when I have sex with a woman I totally ignore her boobs because I know that they have no sexual function and are only considered sexual because of the Puritans.

Interesting interpretation of what I said.

Breasts are sexual to you because women cover them up, and them being revealed to you tells your brain you are about to have actual intercourse. A rural Afghan male may be turned on by seeing just legs, since the whole body is covered in public.

In parts of Europe, where they are less taboo in society, or in African/South American cultures that have not yet discovered the "shame" of the human body, they become just accessories to sex, not a main event.

I love tits as much as the next guy, but you can't pretend that guys like John Ashcroft are the reason that this country is so hung-up on sex, and that mammary glands are to be seen in R rated movies and the Titanic only.

I came across as more of an ass than I meant to, but this really isn't true. I don't want to do too much 'breast wikipedia-ing' at work, but I belive for most primates, female breasts are only swollen when they are fertile, but with humans they are swollen all the time, and they harden in respose to sexual stimulation.

I guess you could argue that they are not an indespensable part of sex, but I think relegating them to mere 'accessories to sex' goes a little too far.

Either way, yeah, show them on TV.

Heavens NO! Breasts on TV? Think of the children!
It is better to educate them on human anatomy with gore-filled, ultra-violent shows. 😛

id rather see boobs/nipples on TV instead of murder, shootings, stabbings, torture, rape, and other violence. but hey its ok to show somebody getting stabbed and shot on the OTA networks, but show a tit and the the jesus freaks have a conniption fit. like they did when ABC showed shindlers list uncut.

Apparently the real crime is showing nipples...

A couple weeks ago Spike TV had an episode of Ink Master (tattoo based reality show) where the artists were tattooing breast cancer survivors. No attempt was made to blur or cover naked breasts with scars in place of nipples.

Hope someone filed an FCC complaint...

Spike is cable and not subject to FCC guidelines.

FCC only controls public "airwaves".

South Park/Comedy Central have been doing things you couldn't do on broadcast TV for years.

I recall naked female boobies in a "very special episode" of Chicago Hope years back. It was about Breast Cancer. You got about 4 or 5 good seconds of female boobies. But you know, it was about cancer. :\

I don't know of any after that, and I do recall that being billed as the first ever naked female boobies on PT Network TV...this was the 9pm slot, too.
