Should naked female boobies be allowed on primetime network tv?

  • Yes, show me the boobies

  • No, female boobies are the evil

  • Maybe, it depends on whose boobies.

They've been in Canada since the 80s, particularly Radio-Canada (the French television stations).

Cable maybe but I don't think I've ever seen them on CBC, CTV, or Global. Back in the old days, CITY used to air softcore porn after midnight. Though those days are long gone since they got bought out by Rogers.

No, only because networks have no restraint when they do pop up ads during other shows.

I have no problem with HBO shows like GoT because I know they don't advertise it during, say, Despicable Me 2.

They should allow boobs and wangs too. Who gives a crap, it's just a naked body.

At first I was tempted to just say yes but upon further consideration there ARE boobies I'd really prefer NOT to see!

Recent rulings have all but killed the FCC's ability to regulate decency. Cable has proven TV will regulate itself so I see no need to waste the court's time with how much boob is allowed under the 1st amendment cases.

Go for it.

I will, however, take the f-word over titties any day of the week. "Real" people swear and the f-word is just so beautiful. I know it's a quality show when I hear the f-word.

I don't care. I do find it to be an odd double standard that men's chests and nipples are freely shown while a woman's is censored. What's the difference? Many men have larger breasts than women.

This thread is marching along to the beat of the pussification of America theme song. Less violence, more love, fuck that. Leave that shit to the Europeans. If we become like Europe, what nation is going to grow REAL MEN who have the balls to go out and fight terrorism and put their life on the line for freedom? You might as well serve the free world up on a silver platter to the likes of North Korea, China, and Iran, so you can enjoy some tits for a few months before the airwaves get shut off.

The future is taken by the strong, breasts on television does not accomplish that, it takes graphic depictions of violence to make a real man.

I don't think it's especially problematic provided it's relegated to the super late night slot , but at the same time I'm not really sure what benefit it provides either. If I want to see tits I'm not going to watch TV to do so.

I'm a proponent for uncensored television after a certain time in the evening (8-9pm) so parents can know after a certain time only to put it on certain channels (nick, cartoon network, etc). But otherwise I don't think anything should be censored, full frontal, cursing, sex, drug use, etc.
