I just got an LCD to replace my CRT and my new monitor has a DVI port and VGA port. I have a Dell with a gf4 440mx which also has a DVI port. I don't think my monitor or computer came with a DVI cable or adapter.

Here is the monitor I gotHere is the monitor I got

Should my LCD have come with a DVI cable and or adapter? If not, should I get one? I know it will use digital instead of analog, but will it be a noticable difference?

my LCDs didn't come with DVI cables either, however i bought them. the difference between VGA and DVI is very noticable if you put them side by side but the average user probably wouldn't notice. considering you can get the cables off e-bay for $5,i say its money well spent. get a DVI cable.

Could someone please provide a link to a DVI cable that I can buy(non-Ebay please). I looked on newegg and everything I found is out stock.

Thanks
