Should my FPS be higher?

My system is in my sig. From various reviews around the web I see a 4870 and GTX 280 getting 80+ FPS on UT3 in reviews. So why is it that I am never getting above 61 FPS on UT3, even with v-sync turned off in game and in the CCC & Nvidia control panel? (I tried a 4870 and a GTX 280 both in the last month). My system had a fresh format before each card installation as well.

Any ideas?

IIRC, there's a frame cap by default in UT3. Did you remember to disable it?

You have to take the smooth frame limit off to go above 62fps.

I have the smooth framerate option disabled in game. Is there a ini I have to edit as well?

Try setting your connection speed to Lan or higher
