Hi.
I've been using my WD 80GB external drive for almost a year and I have just noticed that it is FAT32. I am aware of all the benefits of using NTFS on a computer's main drive, however, I am curious as to whether these benefits are carried on to external drives as well. I have items on my external drive which I consider very important for me, so I was just wondering what everyone's opinions are before I format my external drive to NTFS. My main concern is that I want my backup to be as reliable as possible, and it seems like NTFS is the best choice. There should be no drawbacks in formatting to NTFS right?
