Should my brother trade an old 23" Apple LCD for a Wii?

So my brother got a 23" Apple Cinema Display for free a while ago. It's an older model - acrylic case, ADC connector, and he doesn't have a DVI-ADC adapter so any buyer would need to buy one separately or use it with a specific model of Power Mac.

He put it on Craigslist and someone offered to trade a Wii for it. It has the standard Wii setup with Wii Sports and a controller, Wii Play and a second controller, Mario Kart with two wheels, and "a bunch of old Nintendo games" on the internal memory.

So the question is - is this a decent trade? I told him he may get slightly less from the Wii (maybe $250?), but he's guaranteed to be able to sell it, whereas old Apple LCDs don't appeal to nearly as many people. Furthermore, he doesn't have a DVI-ADC adapter for the monitor, which costs a fair amount to add separately.

If he wants a Wii, why not? I'd say the monitor would be worth between 2 and 3 hundred, seems like a fair trade.

He doesn't want a Wii, he is only going to sell it.

But you guys are right, even Mac people have their limits. A several-year-old LCD monitor that requires a $50-$100 adapter to use on anything can't be worth more than $250 or $300.
