A coworker of mine picked up one of theses the other week and let me try them on. I have to admit there pretty damn comfortable. He hooked it up to his mp3 player and they sounded great. The only thing I couldn't try out is a game, preferably a fps because I dabble alittle into counter-strike.

I also have to add I own a Dfi Ultra D MotherBoard. I'm not sure if the usb would be a good or bad thing.

My experience with them is that they feel comfortable at first and then after about 30-40mins my ears start to ache
Either my ears are too big or its that I wear glasses, since my gf does not have any problems with them

edit: forgot to mention that the mic setup is worthless simply because there is no way to mount it close to your mouth

The only real reason to get an icemat is because of the mic. If you don't really need it, then there are better headphone options out there.

If you're in the latter case, what kind of environment are you going to be listening to the headphones in, and what are you going to use them for?
