Should I was my vehicle even if it's raining/snowing?

My car is filthy and they're calling for more rain/snow this week but I haven't washed in a while. Would like to get off the salt and dirt though.

I would have said no except for the salt situation. You can never wash off too much salt.

If there is a lot of salt buildup (mainly underneath in places you can't see, not just on your paint) it could lead to excessive rusting and mechanical problems down the road. (such as the exhaust falling off)

Definitely wash it. I rarely wash mine, but have repeatedly washed mine lately due to salt.

Hopefully, you gave your car a good wax job prior to the winter to help protect the paint. But at worse, I would hose down the car to get as much salt off as possible and most importantly hose down your undercarriage. Though, you can probably find a car wash that will give you an exterior/undercarriage wash for $10-12.
