Should I wait for the sandy bridge to be fixed and get a i5 2500k or just go now and get phenom II X2 and unlock cores? 2500k will be faster but i don't know if I should wait for the motherboards to start selling :'( Will there be a big difference in gaming if i were to overclock both?
 
Yes the i5 will last you a good 4-5 years Phenom II x2(x4) will last 2 maybe, it is already an old CPU in a dead socket. If you are in the USA the new motherboards are shipping to retailers soon so you should be able to buy within the next month.
