Should I use the Samsung Note 2 or get another phone?

I was given a silver Note 2 but I'm not sure whether I should keep it. I am looking for a new phone and was leaning towards one of Samsung S4, Samsung S5, LG G3, or LG G4.
The Note 2 is pretty big in size but I could get used to it I suppose. Do you see a lot of men using a Samsung Note phone? It seems a bit odd to have such a large phone on the side of my face when making calls.

Lots of guys use big phones. I personally have been using phones larger than 5" since the Note 2 came out (Note 2, Note 3, Note 4, Droid Turbo 2). I think it's acceptable and pretty much most people are using big phones these days. Look at the iPhone. It comes in a 5+" size now.

Since you already have the phone it seems silly not to try out to see how you like the size.

Yes, a lot of men use phablet sized phones. I've used a big phone since the note2 came out (note 2, note3, nexus 6). Hell, even apple has big phones now, so it must be cool, amirite?

I most certainly wouldn't be concerned about whether its acceptable looking, thats only a thing in your mind, definitely isn't something people notice. What I would be more concerned about, is if YOU enjoy the phablet sized phones. I love them, but I know several people who don't. It tends to go back and forth a lot, but there isn't a "better", its more of a "better for me" type of thing.

Size is no issue. I use a 7 inch tab 4 as my phone.

Who actually cares?

Might have something to do with age group, but pretty much everyone in my age bracket has a 5 to 6" phone

My current phone is 5.7" and my previous phone was 5.2".

While I can certainly agree 6.4" like on the Xperia Ultra is a bit large, it is hardly so much larger than most other people's phones that I doubt I would even notice just by glancing at him on the phone. To me I would just see a guy talking on the phone...
