Should i use silverlight?

I won't install it unless I find something that requires it.

It's just MS trying to replace Flash. I've got no particular attachment to Flash but from my perspective, it ain't broke - don't fix it.

I've only found one site that uses it, so haven't bothered to install it yet. They used to use flash, but decided to change over for some reason. 😕

I know one security researcher regards Flash as "the Typhoid Mary of the Internet." The cross-OS, cross-browser clipboard hijacking incidents last year were a great example of why.

That said, I agree with the "install it when you find an actual use for it" rationale.

Install it if you find a site that requires it.

That said, I won't use it for viewing a microsoft site. Anyone else, then you should consider it.

Policially, I want to discourage its use. But that's just my anti-MS voice talking.
