my 8800gt runs very hot i added a water to it and didn't work very well then the seal broke. on the heat sink damaged my mother board... so i upgraded to a P5Q Pro...

now when playing wow it laggs and freezes... i rma'ed the 8800gt
i don't oc i just enjoy low temps...

i have a 600w OCZ StealthXGame i think thats what its called lol
would it be worth it or should i stick with the 8800gt

i was also thinking about upgrading the CPU to a Q9450 not to sure if it will be anything major...

i ordered a HIS HD 4870 😀
damn beat out a 260 in a few places so it was good enough for me since the nvidia boards always have so many problems i can save up for the other 4870 later 😀
thx again for the advice 😀

oh and that mb i have runs really hot like at 50 degrees right now lol know of any way i can cool it does a Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock fit on that board?

Your Asus P5Q Pro is running hot?

On my 8400 machine, I placed an 80mm fan on top of the V.card facing the North Bridge and it keeps that cool, the rest of the mobo, I've never really worried about.

yes its running hot i guess i my old kandalf rad and fans aren't getting enough air flow to it so i'm changin them 😀
