Should I upgrade...

I have a bfg 6800oc 128mg AGP card and I see the ATI x800 xt all-in-wonder is got a rebate that make it ~333.00. I really like the a-i-w ati cards, but is it worth my money to upgrade?

All i play is WoW. I dont care for FPShooters any more. My rig:2600mobile.

I havent been keeping up with the latest cards from ati. Are these kick @ss?

If all you play is WoW then keep the 6800. It'll run WoW all day and night without a problem, and I think that X800 would actually be a downgrade unless it's a Pro. Save your money and just pick up a PCI TV tuner that has a decent software bundle (e.g. not ATI).

The OP is actually talking about an X800XT AIW. This would be an upgrade. It is debatable however, how much of an upgrade. Check this out for a bit of WoW reference:

The charts don't list the X800XT AIW per se, but they do list the X800XT PE and X800 Pro. The X800XT will fall somewhere between these two - probably closer to the XT PE than the Pro.

Wait 6 months, purchase something better for cheaper. For a few more bucks youll likely be able to get a card that is not only an upgrade in functionality but also better for gaming.

AIW cards are garbage

your 3d performace improvement is miniscule, at best, and the AIW features are better done on a sep card, like a Hauppage 250
