Should I upgrade?

Currently I have a P4 2.4B on an Aopen AX4GE MAX motherboard (i845 chipset) with 512MB of PC-2700 RAM. I'm looking at buying a new motherboard because this one only supports 4x AGP and I want to buy a Sapphire Radeon 9800. Should I upgrade to an 865 chipset mobo, 2.4C processor, and PC-3200 Ram? or does it not really affect all that much and I should just buy the video card?

AGP 8x is a gimmick and not a reason to upgrade. In all honesty I'd buy the 9800 Pro and stick with what you've got for now. If you still aren't happy then you can always look at replacing the board and cpu.
