Should I upgrade NOW?

I am really in a dillema. I want to upgrade, but am unsure if I should just hold on until socket 775 and PCI express is released. I purchased this DELL about a year ago, and I want to get rid of it, and I know a couple of people who would buy it (but not for much). I was thinking of buying some of the components reviewed in the Overclocking buyers guide.

What do you guys think? Should I just wait until June-July and save my money or should I exploit the end of the AGP era?

Thanks!

Hey everybody, I know I am new around here, but I thought I would at least get a single reply...

🙂

You want to upgrade from that? 😕 Um...why? Why not just get a 1gb stick of DDR and then run 2gb of dual channel ram? That's about all you'd need to upgrade...

U should also wait at least 4 hours before u bump yourself.

It is a bad time to upgrade ram now with like 35 bucks added on to like every ram piece. it sucks

Why on Earth would you waste, and I do say waste, money to upgrade that? You already have a very nice setup. Just wait.

Uh...are you being serious? That is a horrible waste of money. Wait a while, your computer is pretty good and some serious new technology is around the corner.

Nope, I am not interested in the extremely expensive edition. I am interested in some nice overclocks, though. I will sell my current setup for $500 USD (everything in the .sig EXCEPT the hard drives and controller card [instead I can give an 120 Seagate barracuda], the monitor, speakers, and the graphics card...]...and the PC power and cooling PSU (I still have the DELL PSU)...not such a great deal anymore?
