Going from factory 15's to factory 16's will have the tire size already adjusted. You're not losing that much sidewall height actually, he would not be causing many (if any) problems with potentially damaging the wheel.Originally posted by: SampSon

Usually to move up in rim size you have to adjust the aspect ratio of the tire in order to stave off adjusting your speedo.
Depending on where you drive that may make your tires very low profile and susceptible to damage of the rim etc.
