Should I upgrade my monitor or CPU?

I just bought a Gainward GF3 Ti200 and was wondering should I buy maybe a Athlon 1600+XP,mobo and maybe ram or a 17"+ monitor? I can buy 1 of the 2 in the next couple weeks but the other will have to wait prob a couple months. If I bought a better cooler my Athlon will do 1.33+.
 
I say go with the monitor for sure. You'll notice the difference with the new monitor more than a faster CPU especially since you are already topping 1GHz.
 
I second the monitor; It's a tremendous part of the computing experience, that will stick with your system for upgrades to come. Much more worthwhile.

I would definitely go for a new monitor. Go for a quality monitor so that it will last and look good for your games. Either get a 17" or possibly go for a 19" if you can find a good deal.
 
monitor all the way! much better to be able to see what you're doing well than to have a blazing computer but have a hard time looking at the screen 🙂
